I went to walk my dog the day after uploading my video: In Car Child Choking Hazard - When Is An Ice Cream Not An Ice Cream and to my amazement, the first parked vehicle I came across has one of the WALLS Ice Cream car air freshers in it.  Here is a clip from the video I filmed. Obviously, some people don't see a hazard, they just see and plastic, strawberry, Ice Cream smelling Pink Foot as they drive around. In Car Child Choking Hazard - When Is An Ice Cream Not An Ice Cream.  If Walls wants to sell excess flavourings as air refreshers I have no objection to it, as long as they aren't enticing replica's of the real Ice Cream that a child can easily mistake as the real thing.  I hope this was a marketing accident or brain dump, I'd hate to think somebody devised this potentially lethal and cynical marketing strategy to entice kids to want more Ice Cream.  Walls please recall these before there is a serious accident. #fixed1t

Arg, it happened again, this time in Walking Dead a few weeks ago.  Darren met up with a group of two woman and a young man and one of the woman was falling about ill.  There they are, in a stressful situation, surrounded by zombies, no instantly available fast acting carbohydrates to hand, and after a fracas Darren runs off with a backpack, and it contains insulin. So he takes it back to them, and the girl injects herself (doesn't eat) but is instantly saved and well, and Darren gets Robbed for his humanity. This is wrong in so many ways.  Insulin is a catalyst that enables humans and others to matabolize sugars in the blood stream and glucose so the cells of the body can use them.  If you take carbohydrates, sugars etc without insulin, you will feel ill, pee a lot, get blurred vision, get a headaches, then gradually become increasingly unwell and lose weight etc etc.  Unless you drank several litres of high sugar drink or ate large amounts of instant carbo...

When I stuffed dead nettles into an old bottle of Diet Lemonade topped up with water, I expected them to rot down into plant food.  But after going cloudy for a month or so the water gradually cleared showing this. Unbeleivable and a candidate for space travel, its created its own environment, in a sealed bottle. I put Comfrey in a bottle at the same time and it went more smelly and rotted down. Hi, I have gotten to part 6 of my experiments on using household chemicals and fluids to try and remove superglue. I've just used Acetone and the results where pretty interesting.   The Acetone did appear to break down the integrity of the superglue, but as is the nature of Acetone it also started affect the plastic as can be seen in the video. The interesting thing from my standpoint is that it may be effective in removing superglue from glass and other hard surface, so once I've finished this series of videos I plan to try some of the positive none busted solutions on hard and glass objects. #fixed1tresearch

Hi, I'm placing the information on my Superglue removal experiment in this 'Strange But True' blog until I can create a suitable 'fixed1t Research blog'.  The experiment has come about due to the increasing number of urgent requests I am receiving from people who have spilt superglue on their phone case, tablet case to pc. I'm testing a number of readily available chemicals and methods to see if its possible to remove superglue without specialist chemicals. I have set up 8 test stops on the back of my Google ASUS Nexus 7 case so that it is a real item test. Lots of people have been asking at removing superglue from plastic or rubberised plastic cases of phones, tablets or laptops. In truth I found a few and a lot of myths, therefore I've devised a simple experiment by deliberately spilling 8 drops of superglue on the back of a Google Nexus 7 tablet. I'm mazed at how much dog poop mess is left by dog owners on the grass on public paths and playgrounds. But watching some people getting it on their hands when picking it up, I thought perhaps that why many others don't bother.  So with a bit of research I've devised a simple method (many may already do it) to pick up the dog poop mess and keep your hands clean.  If you think the video is useful, please share it with other dog owners. Monday marked 46 years since the Apollo 11 lunar module was landed on the moon by Neil Armstrong with fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin as fellow Astronaut Michael Collins stayed in and piloted the Command Module to secure their way home. As a teenage boy, this sealed my interest and obsession with space and space travel.  These guys were and are real heroes of the Human Race. Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins & Buzz Aldrin I can't believe there are still people out there who felt and still feel it was a massive, expensive hoax hoisted on the world to hide the money being spent in Vietnam. SO I HAVE A CUNNING PLAN What would be really cool is, before they decommission the Humble Telescope or power it down they should: turn it to face the moon and train it on the Apollo 11 landing site broadcast the entire event live across the world then train it on the other landing sites finally point it at the space station so that we can watch the space station...

Fly Over video of Pluto's Ice Mountains getting closer with each pass, over the next few weeks more and more of the surface images will become available in ever great detail.  As somebody pointed out the cost of this mission 9.5 years the team the craft the flight divide by the distance 3 Billion Miles comes out at around 22 cents per mile and the further it travels the cheaper it will become ;-) And successive governments have reduce their investment in space. Here is a section of Pluto's southern hemisphere as photographed by New Horizons as is shot towards Pluto.  The detail is stunning. Interestingly it looks like a close-up of a huge whales head complete with eye and barnacles. This science is brilliant.  What we also know now is that should humans decide to explore space, there is a massive energy source at Pluto, like a huge filling station. The question is where is the methane coming from, methane is usually a by product of life. #fixed1t

+Charmedone9805 Hi, Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment.   That giant heart shaped piece reminds me of scare tissue on a big deep wound.  Its as if something huge impacted to the left and an enormous section was fired into space, not too far as it formed the Moon Charon. and the semi molten Pluto smoothed over the area as it released whatever was below.   Also it appears they are made of similar materials. NASA has released amazing false colour images from New Horizons 'Ralph' and 'Alice' instruments. These images use false colour to highlight the diverse composition of Pluto and its large moon Charon. Read more about it here #fixed1t

I drove along the same road this afternoon and the Three Red Kite Hawks were hovering and swooping around, I managed to get this with the iPhone, I've had to zoom in a lot to see it:  but its a magnificent bird, so I think I'll head over with Camera and Tripod and see what I can get over the next few weeks. I love the effects of Zooming in on the Ceres Pyramid accompanied by a few minutes of my Ambient Composition 'Surface Noise'. It just adds to the suspense.

It's interesting to see the photos from the Nasa Probe to Ceres which is a small 'Dwarf Planet' in the Asteroid Belt.  There is much controversy about the nature of the reflections in some craters: which are shown in the data from the instruments on board the probe, most likely simple chemical reflections.  The odd thing is the 3-mile high Pyramid shaped mountain which has been seen: and a planetoid which is otherwise quite flat. I filmed this video in the summer and just came across the footage whilst thinning out my video library.  I was filming and incredibly loud vortex sound emanating from an overflow water pipe from a high lake into a smaller lower lake.  As I was filming a duckling came swimming towards the pipe.  Realising it was in danger I tried to shoo it away from the pipe.  But is stubbornly ignored me and suddenly dived head first into the whirlpool vortex of the pipe as you can see from the video.  I quickly turned round expecting to see a dead duckling float in the lake and it not re-appear, but like a miracle it suddenly surfaced unaffected by its pipe ride and carried on swimming and diving for food in the lower lake. I don't know anything about duck intelligence, but it seemed to do this deliberately, like it had seen another duck doing it or it was a regular 'water-slide' for ducks and a short-cut to the lower lake. Most of us know that humans and other animals need Oxygen, and without it we rapidly die. But have you ever wondered why the Oxygen masks on planes seem to be flat pancakes rather than huge Oxygen filled balloons? or that masks for people on Oxygen appear to have holes in them or don't fit tightly or are two loose tubes up the nose? The truth of the matter is that although we need Oxygen at sea level at around 20% to be fully conscious (well most of the time) or sick people may be given more (because they aren't absorbing enough).  You may think that if Oxygen is good for us then more must be better..  but this is not necessarily the case. If you have a spare 10 mins this is an excellent weird read .

Those of you linked will have seen my recent videos on using the Disability Accessibility Options on the iPad (iPhone etc) and the Android Tablet and a few of you have liked it, thanks.  But I've been working with disable people and students for over 10 years to Improve the specialist technology available to them.  The thing is, a small number of companies do some great technology, i.e. textHelp, Claro, Dolphin etc but what really needs to happen to get the big boys and girls interested in doing more than the bare minimum is for the non-disabled (not yet disabled age get everyone) to realise how stress reducing and time saving these things really are and to start demanding better.  This will only happen when the technology is waved under their busy noses and introduced to then by their friends.  Therefore they need your help and it may help you.  Please share this message and the two links with others as widely as possible and ask them to do the same and if just...
